David Emory is by far and large my favorite Political Researcher, I would even say that he was the person that got me looking into politics and eventually becomming politically active. The topics he covers are International Fascism and it's ties to the U.S. Millitary and Intelligence agencies as well as it's relation to current political events. I first heard him around ten years ago when he was still broadcasting on kfjc in the Palo Alto Foothills and I have been listening ever since. While he is no longer on kfjc, he can be heard on kkup in Cupertino on Monday nights from 9pm-10:30pm as well as:
Los Angeles KPFK 90.7 FM Wednesdays Midnight to 2 AM
Berkeley KALX 90.7 FM Fridays 9:00 to 9:30 AM
New York / NJ WFMU 91.1 FM Mondays 6:00 to 7:00 PM
Lexington, KY WRFL 88.1 FM Wednesdays 9:00 to Midnight
Ann Arbor, MI WCBN 88.3 FM Fridays 6:00 to 7:00 PM
Vancouver, BC CITR 101.9 FM Sundays 10:00 to Midnight
If you live out of these areas, WFMU in Jersey City keeps an archive of Emory's "For The Record" broadcasts. Up to date "For The Record" downloads are found by linking here, while an archive of older "For The Record" files are to be found by linking here.
Additionally, For the Record Programs through FTR-233 (Prior to July 2000), For the Record programs FTR-233 to present, Radio Free America, Miscellaneous Archive Programs, The Guns of November and The Lecture Series programs can be purchased on tape or cd from Spitfire. Spitfire also hosts the most recent For The Record, for free download, each week.
